Welcome to Digging Pixels. If you found your way here then you are likely looking for more information on well….me.  Bear in mind, this site is currently under construction and will be updated shortly.

I am a Serious Games Director of Development, Project Manager, and part-time professional Archaeologist. Yes, you read that correctly. My game development career started in 1996. Since that time, I have worked across the US, creating video games, interactive architectural and scientific visualizations, taught college-level animation and game design courses, and jumped into serious games development. In my spare time, when I wanted to learn about human behavior and brain functions, I got a degree in cognitive psychology. When I wanted to learn about qualitative and quantitative research within a cultural context, I got an anthropology degree. When I wanted to learn about prehistoric cultures, I became a professional archaeologist. So yes, I have a lot (did I say a lot?) of hobbies, and yes, my hobbies benefit my career. To learn a bit more about me, check out these pages:

3d Graphics Experience: My 3d Graphics Experience began with the Commodore Amiga computers and continues to this day. I never branched out into web design or print, my focus has always been 3d art and animation.

Games Industry Experience: My experience in the video games industry, working across the country on video games for multiple platforms. This page provides a brief overview of my experience, and is not complete.
